Are you an experienced planner who enjoys balancing customer demand, production capability and inventory strategy?
At Novanta, we are looking for a Master Scheduler who can turn complex business requirements into effective production plans that help deliver exceptional results for our customers worldwide.
The Opportunity
This is a highly visible role that sits at the centre of our manufacturing operation.
You will work closely with Sales, Customer Care, Product Management and Operations teams to create production schedules that maximise efficiency while ensuring customer commitments are delivered. You will also act as a SAP planning subject matter expert, helping improve planning processes and operational performance.

What you will be doing:
- Developing and maintaining master production schedules
- Converting SIOP forecasts into executable factory plans
- Balancing customer demand with manufacturing capacity
- Managing long-term supply and inventory planning
- Utilising SAP planning tools to optimise operations
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Partnering with stakeholders across the business
- Driving planning accuracy and schedule performance
What we are looking for:
You may currently be a:
- Master Scheduler
- Production Planner
- Supply Chain Planner
- Demand Planner
- SIOP Planner
- Manufacturing Planner
We are seeking candidates with:
- Experience in production planning or manufacturing scheduling
- SAP planning expertise
- Knowledge of inventory management principles
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

The successful candidate should be prepared for an intensive onboarding period, including significant travel to the United States during the first year to support knowledge transfer and integration.
