Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Greater London for a Mastic Man / Sealant Applicator. The role involves preparing surfaces, selecting appropriate sealants, and applying mastic and silicone products to joints, frames, sanitary ware, and other building elements in domestic, commercial, and industrial environments. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve clean, consistent finishes, follow technical specifications and drawings, and ensure work meets quality and safety standards.

The role also requires clear communication with site supervisors, clients, and team members, as well as accurate timekeeping and basic job documentation.
Qualifications
- Practical experience in mastic and silicone application, including surface preparation and finishing to a high standard.
- Knowledge of construction site practices, safety procedures, and relevant health and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and follow basic drawings, specifications, and written instructions related to sealant works.
- Strong attention to detail, steady hand skills, and a commitment to consistent, high-quality craftsmanship.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients, supervisors, and colleagues.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively across multiple small and medium-sized jobs.
- Physically able to work on-site, including standing for extended periods, working at height, and handling materials safely.
- Valid right to work in the UK; driving license and access to transport are advantageous.
- Previous experience in sealant application, construction finishing trades, or similar roles is preferred.
