The Role

Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team, working with our client, Burnley FC. If this sounds like you, and you’re willing to learn new skills to develop your career, we promise to provide full training and all the support you’ll need to help you to succeed.

Location: Turf Moor- Home of Burnley FC (BB10 4BX) with opportunities to cover shifts at, Accu Stadium (Huddersfield), Elland Road (Leeds), Old Trafford (Manchester), Manchester Central Convention Centre (Manchester).

Pay: £13.45 per hour

Hours: Working on a casual basis on match/event days you have the ability to be flexible around your current commitments (5-7 hours per shift)

Please be aware that this is not a full-time role, colleagues have the flexibility to choose and book their own shifts for home games or Ad-hoc events at the stadium

There will be a minimum of 23 home games between August and May with potential for additional shifts depending on how the football season pans out

Football and events take place evenings and weekends only.

Your core role will be to ensure the safety and security of everyone in Turf Moor this could include, but not limited to;

  • Scanning tickets
  • Directing spectators
  • Monitoring crowds
  • Managing queues

Is this you

  • Friendly, approachable, and always professional
  • Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
  • Ideally some experience in an events environment or a customer care role
  • Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
  • Level 2 certificate in Spectator Safety, or willingness to obtain the qualification (This will be a requirement if hired, but we will fund this for you)
  • Willing to work at other Carlisle Events venues across the region (desirable)
