VIP Hospitality Host - Matchdays at Accu Stadium

As part of our Matchday VIP Hospitality team you will play a key part in enhancing the customer experience for event days at our client's prestigious venue. Role Overview

We are seeking well-presented, articulate and reliable personnel to work at a variety of events held at Huddersfield’s Accu Stadium, home to Huddersfield Town A.F.C, Huddersfield Giants R.L.F.C and a variety of one-off events such as music concerts.

As representatives of the respective sporting club and Carlisle Events - our teams demonstrate exceptional customer service acting as the face of the club, and taking every opportunity to make attendees visit to Accu Stadium's hospitality area a memorable one.

You will be working for our client at their world class venue in Huddersfield. As a VIP Hospitality Host, your main role will be to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone attending events at Accu Stadium. This could include, but is not limited to;

  • Scanning tickets and accreditation upon entry
  • Directing attendees to their box and/or corporate area
  • Conduct pre-event safety checks of the hospitality area
  • Meet and greet with exceptional levels of welcoming customer service
  • Support adherence and enforcement of licensing conditions
  • Assist with functions such as distributing complementary team sheets to delegates
  • Monitoring your designated area for hazards, litter etc

We have excellent progression routes available, including Supervisory level roles, and similar roles at some of our other event venues. If wanted, we are also able to offer opportunities to work at some of our iconic event venues across the UK, including similar roles at venues in Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester and Huddersfield - as well as further afield if you are willing to travel (funded).

Role Requirements

We are looking for candidates that can commit to working a minimum of 75% of of Football and Rugby events held at the stadium.

  • Flexibility and reliability are essential
  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • Willingness to complete a Spectator Safety qualification (funded)
  • Excellent communication skills and an aptitude for working with the public
  • A friendly, approachable, and professional manner
  • Previous experience in a hospitality, stewarding or customer care environment would be advantageous

Our hourly rates are paid for the hours you work, with holiday pay accrued separately and paid in addition. Some organisations advertise a higher 'inclusive' rate which already includes holiday pay. For example, a £13.45 salary plus holiday pay is worth over £15.00 comparatively.
