Job Title: Materials Controller
Pay Rate: £26.33 PAYE
Duration: 12 months
Shift: Nights - Monday to Thursday 9pm to 6:15am
Location: Cheltenham
Are you an experienced Materials Controller with ERP experience? Join our client in Cheltenham to help deliver world-class material flow, accurate stock control, quality presentation, and kitting readiness for programme ramp-ups and integration—making an immediate impact on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
What you'll be doing:
- Pick, pack, label and physically move materials
- Control stock to aerospace standards
- Raise and complete inventory transactions in the business system (ERP)
- Process Work Orders for Operations against the Production Plan
- Fulfil material requests accurately and on time
- Attend daily performance review rhythms and review KPI results
- Troubleshoot queries and resolve issues quickly
- Support continuous improvement to reduce inventory losses and improve turnaround time

What you'll bring:
- Strong communication (written and verbal)
- Material handling experience in manufacturing, including ESD/MSD
- Working knowledge of ERP or inventory systems
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving
- IT literate with confidence using PC tools
- Ability to prioritise and work well with the wider team
