About the Role

Are you highly organised and thrive in a fast-paced operational environment? Do you enjoy building strong relationships and coordinating multiple stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes? Are you looking to play a key role in one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects?

Here at GXO, we’re seeking a Material Coordinator for Hinckley Point C, Bridgwater. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth management and delivery of materials supporting the construction of this landmark project. Working closely with project teams, suppliers, and warehouse operations, you’ll coordinate inbound deliveries, maintain accurate records, and help ensure materials are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with strict regulatory requirements.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a project that will provide low-carbon electricity to millions of homes across the UK while developing your career within a dynamic logistics and warehousing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating end-to-end inbound deliveries, including scheduling, supplier liaison, and delivery slot management
  • Building strong relationships with Project Managers, suppliers, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless material flow across site
  • Creating and maintaining accurate inventory records, documentation, and filing systems within multiple business platforms
  • Supporting reporting, forecasting, planning activities, and continuous improvement initiatives across the operation

Requirements

  • Experience within a warehousing, logistics, inventory, or materials coordination environment
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, working effectively with both internal and external partners
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, document management systems, and email management

What We Offer

This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00.

  • Salary of up to £35,585 per annum
