Warehouse Operative

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our client's busy Stores and Logistics team based at Lincoln. Working across four stores, you will support the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials while contributing to the smooth running of warehouse operations.

The successful candidate will receive full training and become part of a team of warehouse personnel within a larger logistics function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Receiving, checking, and booking deliveries into SAP.
  • Picking, kitting, and storing materials in designated locations.
  • Operating forklift trucks and overhead cranes.
  • Carrying out stock transactions and inventory activities.
  • Working with other departments to support operational requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous warehouse/stores experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable and able to commute to site.

Desirable Requirements

  • Forklift Truck (FLT) experience/certification.
  • SAP experience.
  • Overhead crane experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
