Material Inventory Controller
Brize Norton, Oxfordshire | 100% Onsite
6-Month Contract | Inside IR35
£24.47 per hour Umbrella | £18.30 per hour PAYE
Belcan Workforce Solutions is recruiting for a Material Inventory Controller to join a leading aerospace and defence programme based at Brize Norton. This is an exciting opportunity to support critical logistics operations within a highly regulated environment, ensuring materials and components are available to meet demanding operational requirements.
As a Material Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for the accurate handling, storage, movement and control of materials within the warehouse operation. Duties will include processing material movements, picking and packing, stock control, goods receipt and dispatch activities, SAP transactions, stock checks, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure materials are delivered in line with operational priorities while adhering to quality, safety and compliance procedures.

Essential Requirements:
- Experience within a material support, warehouse, inventory control or supply chain role
- Proficiency in warehouse management and information systems, including SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Service-minded approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Driving licence preferred
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck and Reach Truck licences highly desirable
- Ability to work across inbound and outbound warehouse functions
- Eligibility to obtain BPSS+ Clearance
