Job Description

Salary:

£53,000 - £58,000

Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.

Your Impact

  • Manage associated materials in line with MRP requirements and ensure the IPT/LOB are aware of any material issues that will affect shop floor production and significant sales milestones.
  • Diligently manage and maintain any internal/external dependencies ensuring the relevant IPT and material acquisition team are aware of any potential issues/risks likely to impact the delivery of material.

What You’ll Bring

  • Attend and support meetings in line with the demand/supply/capacity model and present supply review reports at LOB supply review.
  • Create, expedite and report on all internal dependencies and be the voice into the IPT to ensure timely closure.
  • Attend monthly local Contract Status Reviews (CSR’s) and present material risks/updates via the CSR material report.
  • Develop appropriate relationships and act as the interface with Buyer and LOB IPT‘s to understand material issues and close them out in line with MRP requirements.
  • Proactively interface with IPT and Planning Manager to mitigate production material supply risks (rebalancing supply/re planning where necessary).
  • Promote a culture of Best Practice in Material Supply sharing knowledge within the function and within the wider business.
  • Support management of obsolete material and proposed LTB’s to ensure seamless material supply transition in line with MRP requirements.
  • Attend and support the MRB/FRB process, ensuring all external material supply information is flowed and is a conduit into execution team.
  • Attend Change Control Board (CCB) and take ownership of supply actions including supplier sheet responses and impact to delivery schedule and impact to BOM/build schedule.
  • Support Material Acquisition team with supplier recovery plans and communicate all relevant updates to the IPT/LOB.
