Material Planner - Bishops Cleeve Site
Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a Material Planner to join our Bishops Cleeve Site for six months as a result of increased demand.

What you'll be doing
- Support effective material management to support business plans and schedules for Ontic
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Programmes and Production to ensure products are delivered on time and to the required quality
- Be proactive in working any shortages through the supply chain, goods inward and stores performing root cause investigation and resolution where necessary
- Identify and manage material requirements of bulk issue including end of life management and monitor and suggest stock levels and use of safety stock where necessary

What you'll need to know
- Ideally you'll have experience of working in a manufacturing environment in a Planning/Material role and be comfortable using ERP/MRP systems - this is by no means essential for this role
- We are also keen to speak to confident, proactive individuals who are looking for their first step in to a manufacturing role or keen to start a career in Planning
- Be comfortable communicating with both internal and external stakeholders and able to work autonomously using influencing skills to drive customer demands within the wider business
- Experience of working within an Aerospace environment would be desirable
