Job title: Material Planner
Fixed term contract (Maternity Cover - 12 months)
Do you have excellent Excel skills and Syteline/Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI) experience? Do you have stock and inventory management experience?

Candidate Profile
You will need to be self-motivated and organised to ensure the demands of the business are met. You will need to be confident liaising with multiple departments and external suppliers whilst keeping a professional attitude. The ability to multitask whilst maintaining a level head at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all the purchase orders adhere to the purchasing procedures.
- Maintain strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure supply of materials meets requirement.
- Review inventory on a weekly basis using multiple systems in order to make sure projects are met and adequate stock levels are kept in all warehouses.
- Raise purchase orders on the system to meet stock levels as well as for the rest of the business needs.
- Liaise with all Suppliers providing forecasts to allow manufacturers to meet our business demands.
- Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes of material delivery from supplier to warehouse.
- Co-ordinate the supplier and freight forwarder schedules ensuring any updates are recorded on the system.
- Review product costs ensuring new codes and prices are updated.
- Liaise with all warehouses to ensure they are aware of all inbounds.
- Negotiate specific needs of the business when product is required on a quicker time frame.
- Maintain regular reviews with all freight forwarders to ensure agreed service levels are being met.
- Create regular statistical reports to analysis and update others in the organisation.
- Take on key projects to ensure processes are more efficient to meet the business requirements.
- Review slow moving stock globally, liaise with Product Management and Finance to create a mandate on global stock reduction and disposal.
- Approve and sign off purchase and duty/freight invoices.
- Highlight issues and advise line manager
- Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and identify areas of improvement.
