Job Purpose

As part of the Manufacturing Logistics team and reporting to the Material Planning Supervisor and Logistics Manager, this position will be based from our Basildon manufacturing facility with the scope to liaise with Tractor Plant’s supplier’s network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise and manage our supply base ensuring good lines of communication are developed and maintained to provide continuity of supply
  • Handle daily component shortages for MBU activities ensuring prompt delivery of scheduled material requirements.
  • Engage appropriate transport methods to meet delivery deadlines
  • Escalate issues through supplier and CNH hierarchy where necessary
  • Look continuously for opportunities to improve. Propose and implement solutions in order to guarantee deliveries on time, without extra transportation cost and reducing our inventory.
  • Prepare analytical reports when required

  • Knowledge of logistics feeding methods
  • Good attendance and punctuality
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Availability to work overtime and weekends when required upon business needs
