Role Purpose

Responsible for the daily production management of multi-area cell output across New Parts, Repaired Parts, Assembly and Testing, and maintenance of relevant ERP and APS data. Manages complex logistics control, repair routings, assembly sequences and testing protocols, while overseeing subcontractor expediting, inventory management and work centre capacity to ensure efficient production flow and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily production flow and output across four operational areas using ERP and APS systems.
  • Coordinate requirements with Cell Management, Engineering, Repair, Assembly and Testing teams.
  • Resolve production, capacity, material and process issues that may impact delivery performance.
  • Maintain production schedules and monitor performance against plan, providing analysis and reporting where required.
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional communication to align priorities and achieve operational targets.
  • Manage Supply Plans and ensure the accuracy of production, inventory and work order data within SAP and other digital applications.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, expedite critical deliveries and coordinate external manufacturing resources.
  • Optimise inventory levels across production cells while maintaining service levels and inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor logistics outputs, work centre capacity and resource utilisation to support business requirements.
  • Identify system, process and data improvement opportunities and support implementation activities.

Experience & Qualifications

Essential Experience

  • Production planning, scheduling and logistics control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Managing complex operational demands across multiple production areas.
  • Facilitating cross-functional meetings and driving issue resolution.
  • Working with ERP systems, inventory management and production reporting.

Education

  • HNC minimum (Degree desirable) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or equivalent experience.
