Job title: Material Resource Planning Controller (MRPC)

Location: Warwick

Contract length: 6 months rolling contract

Work Structure: Hybrid (3 days in the office)

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Material Resource Planning Controller (MRPC) to join a World leader offering Products, Solutions and Services across the entire Energy value chain on behalf of a well-established manufacturing organization to play a key role in supporting Manufacturing Operations.

The Material Resource Planning (MRP) Controller builds, maintains, and communicates detailed component delivery plans to achieve the master production schedule for Siemens Aero Derivative Gas Turbines. Managing part orders through SAP, the role balances stock levels, monitors inventory costs, and evaluates demand changes to mitigate supply chain risks. As the primary interface for key suppliers, the MRP Controller leads operational performance reviews, manages load and capacity constraints, and resolves delivery shortages to ensure high-quality turbine parts arrive on time to meet customer commitments.

Some of the duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all component planning data in SAP (lead times, safety stock, reorder points) is maintained accurately to cascade demand through the supply chain.
  • Evaluate customer and production schedule changes, communicating the operational and delivery impacts to the Regional Purchase Manager.
  • Ensure supplier delivery commitments are accurately reflected in SAP and handle schedule exceptions to maintain delivery to plan.
  • Act as the primary interface for suppliers, conducting regular business reviews to align performance on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD).
  • Evaluate supplier production loading and capacity constraints to spot potential delivery risks early.
  • Lead collaborative improvement activities with suppliers covering planning efficiency, inventory management, and lead-time reduction.
  • Monitor and balance inventory across the supply chain, ensuring specified stock levels are maintained and used in the correct sequence and timeframe.
  • Track component shortages, coordinate recovery programs for delayed parts, and escalate severe delivery hazards to the Supply Chain Management Team (SCMT).
  • Coordinate the introduction of new component parts into the supply chain in full compliance with company processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
