Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the timely availability of materials required to support manufacturing and product delivery schedules.
- Receive, check, and process raw material deliveries, ensuring accuracy against delivery documentation.
- Unpack, inspect, and distribute materials to the appropriate storage locations.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory transactions within SAP.
- Manage material kitting activities to support production requirements.
- Monitor and maintain material shortage reports, escalating issues where necessary.
- Ensure full material traceability is maintained through accurate record keeping.
- Trigger and monitor Kanban replenishment activities to maintain stock availability.
- Order and manage consumable items to support operational requirements.
- Arrange subcontract processing of products and sub-assemblies, including completion of associated SAP transactions.
- Assist with stock takes and cycle counting activities, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies as required.
- Support inventory accuracy through regular data verification and stock control activities.
- Liaise with Production, Procurement, Logistics, and other business functions to resolve material-related issues.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve material flow, inventory control, and cost efficiency.
- Maintain stores and inventory records in line with company procedures and audit requirements.
- Ensure packaging materials are disposed of and recycled in accordance with company policies.
- Promote and maintain a safe and healthy working environment in line with EH&S and Quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across materials management and supply chain processes.

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential
- Previous experience in a Materials Administration, Stores Administration, Inventory Control, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing support role.
- Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Strong understanding of stock control, inventory management, and material traceability processes.
- Experience processing inventory transactions and maintaining accurate system records.
- Good administrative and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different departments.
- Experience supporting stock takes and cycle counting activities.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and health & safety.

Desirable
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment.
- Knowledge of Kanban replenishment systems and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience using SAP Materials Management (MM) modules.
- Understanding of subcontracting processes and inventory logistics.
- Experience operating material handling equipment or working closely with warehouse/stores operations.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and inventory optimisation techniques.
