Role information

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Ability to take receipt of deliveries
  • Maintain the electronic inventory management system
  • Processing the delivery in the enterprise resource planning system ensuring documentation is verified and retained
  • Store materials ensuring they can be easily identified and their condition is preserved
  • Liaising with the production team and engineers to understand what part or components they require in line with their project delivery programmes
  • Control the issue of materials to ensure traceability is maintained
  • Ordering and maintaining a stock of consumables where not covered by consignment stock
  • Control the issue of PPE ensuring records are maintained
  • Control the calibration of tools and equipment ensuring the calibration database is maintained.
  • Approachable diplomatic manner
  • Ability to plan ahead, coordinate and prioritise workloads
  • Good administration skills and computer literate good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
