Materials Management Analyst II

As a Materials Management Analyst II here at Honeywell, you will support the governance, quality, and continuous improvement of material master data processes across the business. This role will help strengthen master data management capabilities and support the organization's transition to SAP S/4HANA.

You will partner with Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, and Master Data teams to improve data quality, standardize processes, and ensure material master data supports effective planning and execution.

This role is intended as a developmental analyst position with flexibility on industry and functional background. Candidates with strong analytical skills, ERP/SAP exposure, and an interest in data governance and process improvement are encouraged to apply.

This is a hybrid role based in Bracknell

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • Support master data governance activities by reviewing, validating, and maintaining material master data attributes and planning parameters.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues that impact planning, procurement, manufacturing, reporting, and SAP readiness.
  • Assist in the standardization of material master processes, policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency.
  • Participate in SAP S/4HANA data readiness activities, including data cleansing, testing, and migration support.
  • Analyse data trends and recommend improvements to enhance process compliance and data governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote the adoption of master data standards and support metrics and continuous improvement initiatives related to data quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

Key skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Master Data, Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Analytics, or ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or similar platforms.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple functions.
  • Exposure to SAP Material Master, data governance concepts, and understanding of MDM and data quality processes.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar reporting and dashboard tools, along with a demonstrated interest in continuous improvement and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
