Materials Operations Manager – North Devon
We are recruiting for a Materials Operations Manager in North Devon with a global aerospace manufacturing organisation. This is a key leadership job responsible for managing materials, logistics, inventory, and production scheduling within a fast-paced site.
In this Materials Operations Manager job, you will ensure adherence to the Master Production Schedule (MPS), optimise material flow, and drive operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage production scheduling aligned with S&OE and MPS.
- Oversee inventory control, material flow, and site logistics.
- Ensure accurate MRP/ERP data and efficient inventory transactions.
- Monitor delivery performance and escalate supply issues.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles.
- Coach and develop the materials and logistics team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience in materials, operations, or supply chain within manufacturing.
- 3+ years’ experience leading teams.
- Strong understanding of SIOP/S&OP, inventory management, and production scheduling.
- Experience with forecasting, BOM structures, and MRP/ERP systems (Kinaxis, Maestro, or MFG-Pro advantageous).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
