Job Title: Material Planner

Location: Desford

Job type: Contract (12 Months)

PayScale: £20-21.37/ Hourly/ Via Umbrella

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Common Goal Agreements with Customers determining action plans for improvements.
  • Acting as the Business's initial interface with the Customer ensuring relationships are developed and queries resolved with pace.
  • Accountability for Managing Customer Orders
  • Establishes priority of material needs, expedites and de-expedites as required
  • Collaboration with customers via phone/email/Teams and online tools.
  • Accountability for identifying and resolving future risk for customers' production.
  • Management of Outbound Premium Freight/reduction in costs
  • Backorder Management
  • Project Support
  • Ownership of any root cause and corrective action analysis required.
  • Determines alternative supply methods due to factory operational/supplier constraints/material deviations.
  • Ability to analyse business conditions and situations and to proactively minimalize disruption to daily requirements.
  • Regular meetings with customers and global peers.
