Material Resource Planning Controller (MRPC)

Location: Lincoln (Hybrid Working)

Contract: 1-Year Rolling Contract

Hours: 37 Hours per Week (Flexible time 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

Rate: £24.00 - £32.00 per hour Umbrella/ £18.00 - £24.00 per hour PAYE

Travel: Occasional UK Travel Required

The Opportunity

As a Material Resource Planning Controller, you will create, maintain, and communicate detailed delivery plans for component orders throughout the supply chain. You'll be responsible for managing supplier performance, inventory planning, capacity constraints, and delivery schedules while proactively mitigating supply chain risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage material planning activities to support production schedules and customer commitments
  • Analyse demand changes and provide recommendations on their impact to delivery plans
  • Maintain MRP planning data, ensuring accurate demand propagation throughout the supply chain
  • Plan and control inventory levels across the supply chain to optimise stock availability
  • Manage supplier delivery schedules and ensure commitment accuracy within SAP
  • Lead operational relationships with suppliers, driving delivery performance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct supplier business reviews focused on Quality, Cost, and Delivery performance

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Logistics
  • Strong understanding of production planning and material control processes
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain scheduling, and supplier management

  • Inventory Control & Stock Planning, Capability & Capacity Assessment, Load & Capacity Planning
