This position is responsible for materials planning and coordinating run-in/run-out projects from a materials planning point of view (implementation of new products and discontinuation of old products). The aim of this role is to ensure appropriate stock availability of materials, so that the production plans created to meet customers’ requirements are attainable, but at the same time obsolete materials are kept at minimum level.

Key Responsibilities
- Daily contact with materials suppliers
- Regular analysis of production plans to confirm materials availability
- Daily contact with Customer Service and Production Planners
- Use and maintain MRP master data as a main system planning tool
- Development and implementation of process improvements
- Coordination of run-in/run-out projects with main aim of minimising potential write-off costs and assuring on time materials availability for new products launches
- Process large packages of data and create reports
- Daily contact with international teams involved in new product implementation process
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Very good communication in English both verbal and written
- Minimum two years of professional experience in production scheduling or material scheduling
- Preferably diploma in logistics management, mathematics, economics, engineering or certificates of corresponding training
- Experience in using ERP-class computer systems (SAP knowledge would be advantageous)
- Computer literacy: particularly with MS Excel
- Analytical skills, ability to analyse and optimise processes
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent ability to work in a team
