Materials Supervisor – Belfast (Hybrid)
At Stryker, our Materials team plays a critical role in ensuring products move efficiently through the supply chain to support customer needs and operational excellence. As a Materials Supervisor, you will lead key materials management activities, drive inventory accuracy, and support continuous improvement initiatives across receiving, storage, packaging, and dispatch operations. Permanent and hybrid role, with at least 3 days onsite.

What You Will Do
- Supervise Goods Receiving, Off-Site Storage, Material Control, Packaging, and Dispatch operations to ensure performance targets and operational objectives are achieved.
- Lead inventory management processes to maintain material accuracy, inventory traceability, and site-wide materials control.
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with approved work instructions, procedures, and process flows.
- Partner with Demand Planning, Sourcing, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to support material availability and optimal production scheduling.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics activities to support the right material availability at the right time for production and customer requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on material controls, inventory accuracy, waste reduction, and logistics performance.
- Organise and execute stock-taking activities, maintain bill of materials and item master data, and oversee the disposition of defective product.
- Lead 6S deployment, maintain housekeeping standards, and ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements across stores, packing, and dispatch operations.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in materials management, warehousing, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
- Bachelor's Degree Qualification.
- Experience supervising operational teams within a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
- Experience managing inventory accuracy, stock control, and material traceability processes.
- Experience working cross-functionally to support production planning and material availability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Experience maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM) and item master data.
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Experience delivering training on operational processes and procedures.
Travel Percentage: 10%
