Role Overview
The post holder may be required to work anywhere within the Trust. To assist the registered midwife in the delivery of high quality and person-centred care.
- To support the midwives in the Day Assessment Unit with Monofer infusions, chaperone for the cervical balloon catheter inductions
- To carry out maternal observations and undertake a range of activities under direct or indirect supervision by a registered midwife, having been assessed as competent in the activities required, to include venepuncture
- To maintain high clinical standards
- To help maintain a clean and safe ward environment
- To contribute towards the department and organisation in the provision of a safe and caring environment
