Job Opportunity: Maternity Clerical Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity for a Maternity Clerical Assistant to join a diverse and motivated team that are dedicated to the development of skills and the delivery of high quality safe care.

About the Role

As the maternity clerical assistant you will often be the first point of contact for patients and visitors when entering the maternity department so a friendly, welcoming smile and excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of an established team

  • Committed to ensuring the smooth running of the maternity service
  • Provide a professional, efficient and comprehensive administration service within the maternity wards
  • Fulfill all necessary reception, clerical, administrative and general tasks required to facilitate and record patient treatment using both paper based health records and information technology systems
