About The Role
£30K-£35K
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our friendly and supportive Ward Nursing Team. This rewarding role is centred around providing exceptional inpatient care, including the nursing of emergency and critical care patients, offering exposure to a diverse and interesting caseload.

As part of our experienced ward nursing team, you will work closely alongside our Inpatient Head Nurse and Wards Team Leader, as well as collaborating with our clinicians to deliver the highest standard of patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN who enjoys ward nursing, thrives in a team environment, and is committed to providing outstanding care to hospitalised patients.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, although we are happy to consider alternative working patterns for the right candidate. The role includes a 1 in 6 weekend rota (Saturday and Sunday) and participation in 1–2 bank holidays per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high standards of nursing care to inpatients and emergency cases
- Administering treatments and medications as prescribed by our specialist clinicians
- Communicating effectively across disciplines to ensure accurate and timely patient care plans
- Supporting patients after they are recovered post general anaesthesia
