Brks Education is looking for an experienced Math Teacher / Curriculum Consultant to support the review and development of a new mathematics curriculum for Grande Section (GS / KG3 – ages 5–6).
We are specifically looking for someone familiar with the French education system, ideally with direct experience teaching Grande Section / Cycle 1.
The Role
You will work closely with our product and curriculum team to:
- Review and evaluate the proposed GS mathematics curriculum
- Help structure the scope and sequence across the school year
- Ensure concepts are developmentally appropriate for children aged 5–6
- Align the curriculum with the expectations and methodology of the French Cycle 1 / Grande Section programme
- Review progression across topics such as numbers, quantities, shapes, space, patterns, measurement and problem-solving
- Recommend appropriate classroom activities, exercises and learning objectives
- Identify gaps, unnecessary repetition or concepts introduced too early
- Help us design a curriculum that is both academically strong and engaging for young learners

Who We’re Looking For
Ideally, you are:
- A current or former Grande Section / KG3 teacher
- Experienced with the French curriculum / Cycle 1
- Strong in early-years mathematics and pedagogy
- Comfortable reviewing and designing educational content
- Able to explain how mathematical concepts should progress throughout the year
- Detail-oriented and interested in curriculum development and educational publishing

Experience in curriculum design, textbook development or educational publishing is a strong advantage.
Engagement
This can begin as a project-based / consulting role, with the possibility of collaborating on additional curriculum-development projects with BRKS Education.
Lebanon / Remote
French proficiency is highly preferred.
