Role Description
The Math Curriculum Head (UK) is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the design, development, and continuous improvement of the UK-aligned mathematics curriculum for learners aged 5–18. This role involves:

- Mapping outcomes to UK standards
- Creating structured scope and sequences
- Developing lesson plans, assessments, and learning resources that promote logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure consistent instructional quality
- Providing guidance on pedagogy
- Reviewing classroom feedback and performance data to refine content

Day-to-day tasks include:
- Supervising curriculum implementation
- Conducting quality checks on materials
- Supporting teacher training
- Ensuring that all math content is engaging, accurate, and accessible for diverse learners
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to align content to UK curricula and standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning, including creating structured learning progressions and assessments.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with educators, provide clear guidance, and present complex concepts in simple terms.
- Relevant teaching or curriculum leadership experience in UK school settings or UK-aligned programs.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education, or a closely related field.
- Experience with online or blended learning environments and educational technology tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a remote work setting.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education and continuous improvement of teaching and learning materials.
