Position: Mathematics Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $80 - $90/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Author and review advanced mathematical problems, solutions, and proofs spanning calculus and other higher mathematics domains.
  • Design, analyze, and provide rigorous feedback on mathematical challenges, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Evaluate and refine mathematical content for use in AI training datasets.
  • Contribute technical analyses, explanations, and justifications that reflect research-level mathematical rigor.
  • Apply research methodology for developing and verifying mathematical concepts and techniques.
  • Communicate complex mathematical ideas in precise, accessible written and verbal formats for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with project teams and provide domain expertise to enhance AI learning processes.

Requirements

  • BSc, MSc, or PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience producing research papers, proofs, or technical analyses in academic or applied settings.
  • Advanced understanding of calculus, mathematical proofs, and advanced mathematics concepts.
  • Exceptional mathematical problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong command of both written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Background in research methodology and mathematical content development.
  • Experience contributing to collaborative projects or international research initiatives is a plus.
