Role Description
The Mathematics and Science Tutor will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons to students aged 5–18 in an on-site setting in London. This part-time role involves planning and delivering lessons, explaining complex concepts clearly, and tailoring support to individual learning needs. The tutor will assess student progress, provide feedback to learners and families, and prepare students for SATS, GCSE, 11+, and A-Level examinations. Responsibilities also include maintaining classroom discipline, using a variety of teaching resources, and collaborating with other staff to ensure high-quality learning experiences.

- Strong subject knowledge and experience in Mathematics, including Algebra.
- Proven Tutoring and Online Tutoring skills, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to different age groups.
- Effective Communication skills to explain concepts clearly and build rapport with students and families.
- Experience teaching or supporting learners for SATS, GCSE, 11+, and A-Level exams is highly beneficial.
- Relevant academic background in Mathematics, Science, or Education (degree or equivalent preferred).
- Ability to work on-site in London, with flexibility for part-time hours.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education.
