📢 Maths Teacher (Maternity Cover)
📍 L15, Liverpool | Full-Time | Start: November 2026
Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in L15, Liverpool to recruit an experienced Maths Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position starting in November 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school with a strong leadership team and a commitment to helping every student achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire confidence, progress and achievement.
The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and well-planned Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Support students in developing mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
- Monitor, assess and track student progress
- Prepare students for assessments and GCSE examinations
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support student success

The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 and potentially KS5
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passionate and engaging approach to teaching
- Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
