Maths Lecturer – FE College 8-Week Temporary Contract | Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maths Lecturer to join a well-established Further Education College on an initial 8-week temporary contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a short-term FE teaching assignment, delivering Maths to learners across a range of levels.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons within an FE College
  • Teach predominantly GCSE Maths / Functional Skills
  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the college curriculum
  • Support learners to improve confidence, attainment and progression
  • Complete relevant marking, assessment and learner tracking
  • Work closely with the wider Maths department

Requirements

  • Previous experience teaching Maths within Further Education
  • Relevant teaching qualification desirable
  • Strong knowledge of GCSE Maths and/or Functional Skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred
  • Available to start at short notice and commit for the full 8 weeks
