About Us
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join our team at The Isle of Wight College. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to support students in developing confidence and achievement in mathematics across a range of levels.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of maths subjects and levels.
- Plan and prepare engaging learning materials and assessments.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback and support.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider life of the department and college community.

- You are a knowledgeable and approachable educator with a genuine passion for mathematics and student success.
- You can explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible way, adapting your teaching to meet the needs of individual learners.
- You are supportive, professional, and committed to creating an environment where students feel encouraged to learn, participate, and achieve their goals.

- Minimum Level GCSE Grade 4/C Maths qualification or equivalent, although a Level 5 or Level 6 relevant qualification would be desirable.
- Level 2 qualification in English, or willingness to work towards this if not yet achieved.
- A relevant Level 5 teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards this within two years of appointment.
- An innovative thinker with the ability to engage and enthuse our students.
- Good planning, preparation, and organisation skills.
