This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious educator with a strong passion for mathematics to join a nurturing and academically ambitious school. The successful candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young learners and helping them develop confidence, curiosity and a secure understanding of mathematical concepts.
The Role
As Maths Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging mathematics lessons across the Prep School, adapting teaching to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to mathematics across the school.
The Role Will Involve
- Planning and delivering stimulating, age-appropriate maths lessons
- Developing pupils mathematical fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Providing appropriate challenge and support for all learners
- Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to assessment
- Working closely with class teachers and colleagues to support pupil development
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
- Contributing to the wider life of this vibrant preparatory school

The school is looking for a Maths Specialist who:
- Has experience teaching mathematics within a primary or preparatory school setting
- Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics
