About The Role
The Education Network Birmingham seeks a qualified Maths Teacher for a full-time supply post at an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Walsall, starting October 2026. The successful candidate will deliver Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, planning well-structured lessons that build fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving. The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Walsall from October 2026 on a full-time supply basis.
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students’ mathematical knowledge, understanding, fluency, and problem-solving skills.

The Candidate
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Hold QTS or be an ECT specialising in Maths
- Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
- Have experience teaching, or be training to teach, across KS3 and KS4
- Deliver engaging and appropriately challenging lessons
- Demonstrate effective classroom management skills
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners
- Be organised, reliable, and committed to supporting student progress
- Build positive and professional relationships with students and colleagues
The School
You will be joining an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Walsall, working as part of the Maths department and wider teaching team.
This full-time supply opportunity provides a chance to contribute to students’ learning and development across KS3 and KS4 while gaining valuable experience within a secondary school environment.
