Maths Teacher Opportunity in Thamesmead

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking school community in Thamesmead starting this November. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality Mathematics lessons that inspire pupils and promote high academic achievement across secondary age groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-impact Mathematics lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and student engagement.
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress to ensure every learner achieves their full potential.
  • Collaborate with department colleagues to share best practice and contribute to curriculum development.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics with a proven track record of effective classroom delivery.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Availability to interview in September and start on Monday 2nd November 2026.
