Maths Teacher – Hillingdon – September 2026

A high-performing secondary school in Hillingdon is seeking a talented and committed Maths Teacher to join their established Mathematics department from September 2026. This is a full-time contractual Maths Teacher position within a school recognised for strong academic outcomes, clear behaviour systems and a culture centred around high expectations and professional development.

The school delivers a carefully sequenced Mathematics curriculum across KS3 and KS4, with strong GCSE outcomes and a growing reputation for academic progress across the borough. The Role – Maths Teacher

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4 while using assessment effectively to monitor progress and close learning gaps. You will contribute to curriculum planning, intervention provision and enrichment opportunities throughout the academic year.

Candidate Requirements – Maths Teacher

  • British QTS or completion of a UK-accredited teacher training programme
  • A 2:1 degree or above in Mathematics or a related subject from a reputable UK university
  • Strong classroom practice and understanding of effective behaviour management
  • Commitment to supporting pupil progress and wider school life

ECT applications are welcomed where formal UK teacher training has been completed.

Salary & Contract

This is a term-time contractual role equivalent to the Inner London pay scale. Salaries range from £40,317 (M1) to £62,496 (UPS3), with daily rates ranging from £194.21 to £287.97 inclusive of holiday pay. Placement on the scale is commensurate with experience.
