Job: High School Maths Teacher: Warrington

Salary: GBP169 - GBP262 per day (negotiable, based on experience)

Requirements

  • QTS or QTLS status with a degree in Maths or a related subject (ECTs are encouraged)
  • Strong knowledge of the UK KS3 and KS4 Maths Curriculum
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or readiness to complete one)

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach clear, engaging, and interactive maths lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Grade work, track student progress, and provide targeted support to help every pupil succeed
  • Prepare Year 11 pupils thoroughly for their GCSE Mathematics examinations
  • Maintain a well-managed, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Uphold and implement all school safeguarding policies to ensure child welfare
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and run extracurricular maths clubs
