Maths Graduate / Maths Teaching Assistant Immediate Start

Are you a Maths Graduate with a 1st Class or 2:1 degree looking to gain classroom experience before pursuing teacher training?

We are seeking a Maths Graduate / Maths Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Epping on a temporary basis, starting ASAP.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths Graduate / Maths Teaching Assistant with strong academics who is considering a career in secondary teaching.

The Role

The successful Maths Graduate / Maths Teaching Assistant will support the Maths department across KS3 and KS4.

  • Support Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group Maths intervention.
  • Support students with GCSE Maths content.

  • Help identify gaps in students' Maths knowledge.
  • Build valuable classroom experience before teacher training.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Maths Graduate / Maths Teaching Assistant who has:

  • A Maths-related degree with a 1st Class or 2:1 classification essential.
  • Strong academic results.
  • Excellent Maths subject knowledge.
  • Strong GCSE and A-Level grades.
  • An interest in pursuing a career in teaching.
  • Good communication skills and confidence working with students.
  • A reliable and professional approach.
  • Previous tutoring or mentoring experience desirable.
