Job Description

Deliver high-energy, interactive GCSE maths tutoring to students across the UK as part of a fast-growing edtech startup. You will lead live Zoom sessions, making complex concepts accessible and engaging for teenagers. This freelance role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of a high-rated platform as it expands into A-Levels and beyond.

What You Will Do

  • Lead four live, interactive Zoom sessions per week focusing on GCSE Higher content for engaged groups of students across the UK.
  • Engage teenagers with your personality and teaching style, transforming challenging mathematical concepts into understandable and exciting lessons through a screen.
  • Collaborate on the development of high-quality educational resources and prep materials as the platform scales into new subjects and formats.

The ideal candidate

  • Holds a top-tier mathematics degree from a leading university and possesses a deep, intuitive understanding of both the GCSE and A-Level curriculum.
  • Demonstrates a natural ability to build rapport with teenagers, possessing the personality and communication skills to make online learning feel personal and fun.
  • Has a genuine passion for the process of education and helping young people overcome mathematical hurdles through clear, empathetic, and engaging instruction.
