Maths Tutor | Maths Graduate | £110 - £120 per day | Tower Hamlets
Are you a high-achieving Maths Graduate looking to utilise your subject knowledge within a Secondary School?
A fantastic Secondary School in Tower Hamlets is looking for a talented Maths Tutor to join their Maths Department for an ASAP start.
Role Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for an academically strong graduate to work with pupils across KS3 and KS4, providing targeted Maths support and helping pupils develop their confidence, subject knowledge, and attainment.
The position is particularly suited to an aspiring Maths Teacher looking to gain excellent classroom experience before progressing onto teacher training.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group Maths tuition
- Support pupils across KS3 and GCSE Maths
- Deliver targeted academic interventions
- Run GCSE revision and booster sessions
- Support pupils who are falling behind academically
- Stretch and challenge higher-attaining students
- Work closely with experienced Maths Teachers
- Support within Maths lessons where required

£110 - £120 per day
Start: September 2026
Hours: Full Time - Long-Term
Schedule: Term Time Only
Year Groups: KS3 & KS4
Role: Academic intervention and tutoring
Location: Based in Tower Hamlets

Person Specification
- Maths or closely related Degree
- 1st Class or 2:1 Degree strongly preferred
- Strong GCSE and A Level grades
- Excellent numerical and problem-solving ability
- Confident explaining mathematical concepts clearly
- Passionate about supporting young people
- Aspiring Maths Teachers strongly encouraged to apply
- Tutoring or mentoring experience advantageous but not essential
