Maya 3D / VFX Generalist
Role Focus: VFX Pipeline, Set Extensions, & Tracking (Not Motion Graphics)
Required on site 2/3 days a week
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maya-focused VFX Generalist to provide advanced CGI support. This role is strictly geared toward live-action VFX rather than C4D motion design. You will be responsible for creating and supporting digital assets, focusing heavily on camera tracking, complex set extensions, 3D environment builds, and particle elements, ensuring their seamless integration with live footage.

- 3D Environments: Develop and maintain high-quality, photoreal 3D environment assets.
- Set Extensions: Execute complex set extensions to accurately match and enhance live-action production plates.
- Camera Tracking: Perform highly accurate camera tracking for various live-action shots.
- FX Elements: Implement and manage particle effects to support and enhance visual storytelling.
Requirements
- VFX Expertise: Strong background in 3D modeling, lighting, and animation specifically for visual effects (C4D/Motion Design backgrounds will not be suited for this role).
- Software Proficiency: Deeply proficient in Maya and compositing tools like Nuke or After Effects.
- Specialized Skills: Proven, hands-on experience in camera tracking and 3D set extensions.
- Pipeline Experience: Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a structured live-action VFX pipeline.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills.
