About The Role
In Business Transformation at FTI Consulting, we support clients during their moments of truth: complex and challenging situations that require experts with impact. We work with corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders to address their most critical strategic, operational, financial and transactional challenges, helping them improve performance, navigate change and deliver sustainable value.
Our services include performance improvement, value creation, pre-deal commercial and operational due diligence, carve-out, post-merger integration, business plan development, and can include interim management. Our demanding customer base relies on small and senior expert teams.

What You’ll Do
Subject to project needs and individual capability, work as an integrated member of a live client engagement team, supporting complex assignments for major global organisations and taking ownership of defined pieces of analysis and delivery.
With clear guidance and support from the team, take ownership of defined pieces of analysis and/or targeted research to test key questions, identify insights and improvement opportunities, and translate findings into clear, client ready materials and presentations.
How You’ll Grow
During your internship, you will learn primarily through hands on experience, working alongside experienced team members on live client engagements. You will receive regular coaching and feedback to help you build your consulting, problem solving and client delivery skills, with a dedicated coach to support your development throughout the programme.
Our team also operates an open-door culture, giving you access to colleagues across different levels of the business for advice, feedback and informal support.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a current MBA student
- Minimum 3 years of work experience preferred
- Must have graduated with 2:1 or above in the bachelor’s degree
- Must be available to undertake a full-time, eight-week internship at FTI in London, commencing 5 July 2027
- Have strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and relish problem-solving
- Can communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Are collaborative and have good project and people management skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Past experience in consulting, financial, analytical, business and commercial roles preferred
Our Application Process
The deadline for applications is: 29 October 2026
STEP 1: Complete our online application form and submit your CV (no cover letter required).
STEP 2: Complete online skills test (numerical, verbal and logical reasoning), and a pre-recorded video interview
STEP 3: Attend a competency-based virtual interview to explore your skills and motivations between Mon 16th till - Fri 20th November
STEP 4: Attend an in-person case study between Wed 25th of November– Fri 4th December
STEP 5: Attend a final virtual interview with senior leaders between Mon 7th – Fri 11th December
STEP 6: Job offers are made to successful candidates before end of December 2026
Note: The internship runs from 5 July 2027 for eight weeks
