Salary: £42,307.20 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4on-4off rotating shift pattern (4 days 06:00-18:00, 4 off & 4 nights 18:00-06:00)
Key Responsibilities
- Safely managing all operational resources to maximize plant performance, whilst maintaining a safe work environment at all times
- Ensuring productivity and availability exceeds minimum defined standards in the Refinement area
- Ensuring Environmental compliance within the site's permitted activities
- Scheduling pest control treatments and managing stock levels
- Implementing best practice and continuous improvement in cost control/process operations
- Controlling the material movements out of the plant
- Providing records of all plant operations, settings, and stoppages, and attributing causes to all unplanned downtime
- Carrying out regular stock and inventory of all materials
- Keeping abreast of changes to company standards and legislation
- Implementing and ensuring compliance standards
- Analyse and review maintenance activities, cost control, health and safety, and service KPIs, implementing necessary corrective actions in the event of variance
- Schedule planned preventative maintenance, inspections, and cleaning in order to minimize downtime
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping in all areas
- Lead and participate in CI improvement projects

Essential Criteria
- Recent similar experience of supervising an operational team
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Permit to Work Experience
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Previous involvement in the production of RA's, SOP's, TBT & SSOW
- Experience in the Control of contractors
- Microsoft Office Skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Full UK car driving licence
- Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Good people skills; be able to communicate at all levels throughout the company and externally
- Previous experience of shift planning (control of rota)
- Experience in HR (RTW/PDR's/Performance management)
