As MPA Manager, you'll lead the team that represents the ultimate voice of the customer within our manufacturing operation. You'll shape how we assess, measure and improve vehicle quality across current and future programmes, ensuring every McLaren meets the standards our customers expect and our brand demands. Reporting to the Vehicle Line Quality Director, you'll have the autonomy to build capability within the team, influence senior stakeholders and drive quality performance across the business.
This is a highly visible leadership role with exposure across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Aftersales and Programme teams, with opportunities to present at senior leadership level and play a key role in shaping the quality narrative of the business.
What You'll Do
- Lead, develop and inspire the Product Audit team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Ensure robust product quality validation through the planning and execution of static and dynamic vehicle audits across all build phases.
- Champion the voice of the customer, using quality data and direct customer feedback to identify opportunities and drive meaningful improvements.
- Define and implement the MPA quality strategy, aligning short, medium and long-term priorities with wider business objectives.
- Drive consistency and best practice across audit methods, standards and measurement processes, ensuring alignment throughout the organisation.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Aftersales and Warranty teams to resolve customer concerns and improve vehicle quality.
- Lead reviews of key customer quality issues, ensuring effective containment and long-term corrective action plans are in place.
- Build credibility and influence across the business, championing quality at every level and helping shape decision-making across programmes.
- Promote a strong Health & Safety culture and lead by example in everything you do.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
