Our client is a tier 1 main contractor who deliver major projects across sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, defence, residential and industrial.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a large–scale project across retail accounts.

Role

The client is currently looking for an experienced Building Services Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor, working across a portfolio of retail accounts and projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced M&E professional to take ownership of building services delivery across multiple retail projects, working closely with clients, project teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

You will be responsible for managing the mechanical and electrical aspects of projects from pre–construction through to completion, ensuring programmes, budgets, quality and compliance requirements are met.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Building Services Manager, M&E Manager or MEP Manager with a strong background in mechanical and electrical building services, ideally gained within the retail, commercial, fit–out or refurbishment sectors. You will have experience managing M&E packages, subcontractors and supply–chain partners, with a good understanding of construction programmes, project delivery, quality, health & safety and compliance. Strong communication and stakeholder–management skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast–paced environment. Experience working for a Tier 1 main contractor, M&E contractor or specialist building services contractor would be highly advantageous, alongside relevant qualifications in Building Services, Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
