Business Development Manager – M&E Retail Installations
Location: Remote with National Travel
Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE + £5,000 Car Allowance + Commission
The Opportunity
Red Rock Consultants are recruiting on behalf of a leading M&E contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering mechanical and electrical installation projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business across the retail sector.
This is a national, field-based role with the flexibility to work remotely, alongside occasional visits to the Sheffield office for team meetings and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities across the UK retail market.
- Develop relationships with retailers, principal contractors, fit-out specialists and M&E contractors.
- Identify opportunities for M&E installation, refurbishment and roll-out projects.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from initial enquiry through to contract award.
- Attend client meetings, networking events and industry exhibitions.
- Prepare proposals, presentations and commercial quotations.
- Work collaboratively with estimating and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
- Represent the business professionally within the marketplace.

About You
We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager / Sales Manager with a proven track record of winning new business within the M&E industry.
You will ideally have experience selling M&E installation services directly to retailers, or M&E services via principal contractors, fit-out contractors or specialist subcontractors.
