A fantastic opportunity to work for an established building services business who are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong M&E Projects background. This is a permanent position based in North East Kent, paying a salary of £80,000 per annum depending on experience.

The role is Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week and is primarily office-based, with occasional travel into London for site visits and client meetings.
Job Role
The successful candidate will have a strong Mechanical / M&E Project Management background, ideally with 5+ years’ experience, and be looking to take the next step into a senior Contracts Manager position.
You will oversee multiple M&E projects from pre-construction through to completion, managing Project Managers, Project Engineers and Site Supervisors while working closely with the Commercial, QS and Procurement teams.

Projects include M&E works across education sites and commercial environments, so strong commercial project delivery experience is essential.
Relevant Experience Includes
- Mechanical / M&E project management
- Managing multiple projects from start to finish
- Commercial and financial project management
- Programme and project delivery
- Managing project teams and subcontractors
- Client and stakeholder management
- Procurement and commercial management
Skills Required
The successful candidate must have:
- Strong Mechanical / M&E project background
- 5+ years’ Project Management experience preferred
- Proven commercial M&E project experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing multiple projects
- Education, healthcare or commercial project experience desirable
- SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely
- CSCS Black Card or willingness to obtain
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Enhanced DBS and BPSS required or willingness to obtain
