Job Summary
We’re looking for two experienced Multi-Skilled Engineers to join an established engineering team in Brighton.
We have one Mechanical and one Electrical position available, ideal for engineers with a strong building services background who are confident carrying out PPM, reactive maintenance and first-line fault finding.
The role will initially operate Monday–Friday, 12pm–9pm, before moving over the coming months to an alternating shift pattern of 12pm–9pm / 7am–4pm.
You’ll work as part of a team supporting the day-to-day maintenance and smooth operation of the site.

- Complete allocated PPM and reactive maintenance tasks safely and within agreed service levels.
- Carry out minor plumbing repairs including leaks, taps, valves, sanitaryware, flush mechanisms, blockages and drainage issues where competent.
- Support washroom reliability through inspections, defect reporting and first-line repairs.
- Assist with basic mechanical/HVAC inspections, including FCU observations, AHU and plant room checks, pumps, valves, filters and condition reporting.
Requirements
- Practical multi-skilled maintenance experience in an occupied commercial office, facilities management, building services or similar environment.
- Working understanding of mechanical building services such as HVAC, FCUs/AHUs, pumps, valves, plantroom checks and comfort-related fault escalation.
- Experience using CAFM/CMMS systems to receive, update and close work orders with accurate technical notes.
- Recognised apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent experience in a relevant trade such as facilities maintenance, building services, plumbing, fabric maintenance, mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance or multi-skilled engineering.
- Right to work in UK.
