Location: Kensington, London

Salary: £55,000 per annum


An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced M&E Maintenance Supervisor to join a leading FM maintenance provider working on a prestigious site based in Kensington, West London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced M&E Engineer or Supervisor who enjoys working within a high-quality commercial environment and is looking to take ownership of the day-to-day engineering operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across the site, supporting the engineering team and ensuring all building services remain operational, compliant and delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.
  • Supervise and support the on-site engineering team, ensuring maintenance activities are completed to a high standard.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to engineers where required.
  • Maintain and manage a range of M&E building services and associated plant.
  • Respond to breakdowns, assist with fault diagnosis and ensure remedial works are completed efficiently.
  • Liaise with the client, specialist contractors and wider FM team.
  • Ensure statutory compliance, health & safety and site procedures are maintained.
  • Complete routine inspections, audits and maintenance checks.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure relevant reports and documentation are completed.
  • Ensure all works are delivered in line with client requirements and agreed service levels.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as an M&E Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering Supervisor, Senior Engineer or similar within commercial building services.
  • Strong M&E / Building Services maintenance background.
  • Candidates can be either Electrical or Mechanical biased.
  • Experience supervising engineers and/or contractors.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial building services and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Stable employment history with a track record of working within commercial environments.
