Equans is looking for an M&E Operative to join our team at Broomfield Hospital
This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Undertake planned, reactive, and proactive maintenance of M&E systems and building fabric per PPM schedule and management direction
- Apply relevant trade skills including plumbing and building fabric repairs to ensure first-time fixes and enhance customer experience
- Act as Water Hygiene Competent Person, performing legionella system maintenance on taps, showers, and TMVs
- Assist with ordering materials and escort contractors as needed
- Maintain accurate records and update CAFM systems using PDA logs
- Support customer care philosophy by liaising effectively with clients and other team members
- Comply with Health & Safety policies and contribute to Quality and Equalities objectives

Who are you?
- Experienced in M&E maintenance and building fabric repairs, ideally within healthcare or hard FM environments
- Relevant trade qualifications and commitment to ongoing training, including legionella awareness
- Competent in using CAFM systems and PDA data logging
- Good communication skills, customer-focused, and able to work independently or in a team
- Committed to health, safety, and quality standards at all times
- Flexible, reliable, and professional in appearance and conduct
